Lenz – LK Reverse Loop Module
In the other thread there was an indication that the software had been updated changing the speed of operation – and this might explain the difficulty in the Lk00 ‘old technology’ – physical relays changin versus modern solid state as in the PSX lk00 and the suggested newer Lenz LK I think it’s great, never given me any problems, extremely easy to install, can handle 5 amps, doesn’t need power supply, isn’t relay based, and comes with Tony’s great customer support.
But if your a Digitrax users, why not get their reverser?

Reversing Loop Problem
I was disappointed to find that is is relay based, like the MRC which I am using currently. Posted 27 September – If you think they are then you need to read a little more on them to educate yourself on the competition.
But it is somewhat adjustable. If you set it any higher then it will never trip as your DCC system will trip first as it will reach its limiting current before the PSX It looks like a better quality, higher capacity version of the MRC to me. If so, would it affect the overall 4 amp capacity of my DCC system? I don’t care for the Digitrax reverser.

I had a Zypher myself, but sent it back to get a Lenz Set The only problem is that as I do not have a fiddle yard but use a section of the reversing loop inside the operating well as a cartridge exchange system, any short ldnz shut down the whole layout.

To avoid any shut downs I will just switch off the reversing loop during loco changes. What I would probably do is to set up three small power districts, one each end of the reversible section and the section itself with the LK and take them out of the PSX-1 protection altogether.
