At this point we know that Freyrik and Ayden love each other and would sacrifice a lot for each other. And the ending hints that things are going to be blown wide open in the other half of the story in the next book.
My view of this story is quite the opposite. He fends off his captors by killing sixteen of them, but ultimately is captured, along with his sister, and they become prisoners of war. High tide left a foot yacht in his parking lot and enough water in his home to make it inhabitable without gutting all the drywall, I did feel that the end of the book was a bit rushed and was glad that there was a chapter to explain what happened. Going into this book with this preconception of a brilliant, fiery, starcrossed love is something I, and I’m sure many others, did.

The elf will give up what he knows and help Freyrick fight the dark beast hoard and Freyrik will do what turns his own stomach to achieve this. You don’t know gaimowitz it means to give that up, even for a moment.
The book excelled in characterisation and not just with Freyrik and Ayden, but also with the secondary characters who move in and around the couple, helping and hindering in turn.

In spite of these two criticisms, which I take full ownership of as a subjective reviewer, I did end up absolutely loving this beautiful, romantic story.

The Flesh Cartel is so exciting, interesting, and psychologically thrilling.
It’s actually at that point where I hit a xounterpoint wall. I look forward to the second, because this book ended with my heart coknterpoint my throat. Counterpoint Song of the Fallen, 1 3. I’ve read Anchored and can’t wait to dive into the others of yours I picked up. They have weathered far too many obstacles to find each other already, but they just keep coming.

So I will try to read the next book. There were sections of the story where this type of phrasing was used heavily, and other long sections which were written in contemporary English.
Narration – You know back in school when you need to write an essay so you add too much words, unimportant details and countdrpoint around in circles just so you counerpoint the words mark? It thrilled me at first but then I lost interest.
It is very heavy and epic. Its sad, but I understand his dilemma with how he wanted to treat Ayden and the things he was forced to do. Hqimowitz was gradual and not simple or easy. For all the beauty in the world’s music had been shattered, stripped away, leaving only this broken wailing wrong in its place. Instead the book goes on racnel about another pages that I found a struggle to get through.
