It’s set in the world of Elizabethan privateering and it’s clear the author has done a fabulous job, not only of the research, but of bringing to life the shipboard world and characters.
However, this could be a good cnaham or a not so good thing; but for me it didn’t quite float my boat.

Canham could have made a whole book for them. Very witty dialogue, twists and turns, and characters have depth. If you like pirate tales, give this one a shot.

It was pretty easy to fallow and you couldn’t help but love the characters. What U see is what U get. Bought the other books in the series as soon as I finished it, and have already started on the second.
The relationship between Beau and her father, Captain of the Egret, was really wonderful.
