| Martin, a 24-year-old music teacher from Staffordshire started playing
music as a cello player in the county orchestra over 12 years ago. He
soon made the move towards Bass, which became his main instrument and
his love of performing spawned his first band at the young age of 14.
His love of reggae gave Martin the knowledge in becoming a rock solid
bass player. He then moved from band to band, playing a variety of styles
from Funk to Rock, before gaining a full time position in one of the
UK’s top ten piece Soul Shows, touring the country for five years
and gaining a wealth of experience playing with quality session musicians.
Martin is now a high school music teacher and still has the same passion
for performing and playing bass as he did all those years ago. What
better way to do this than to play tribute to one of the greatest bands
around and working alongside five professional musicians. Not only that,
Martin is also pleased at the fact that he does not have to wear any
silly wigs, as he is a Guy Berryman look-a-like!
