| Seth is 22 years old
and was born in Burton-on-Trent. From his early days of idolizing Motown artists, he started listening to more
and more guitar based bands which lead to him getting his first guitar
at the age of 12 - an Encore strat copy (terrible guitar but we all
start somewhere!). As he grew older, different influences and scenarios
surrounding his life helped him mature musically and develop an ambition
to perform and achieve musical identity. Seth is also an original
songwriter and full time musician.
Not only does he play keys and guitar in the band, in 2003 he even
attempted Fame Academy, and went to the Manchester auditions armed
with a couple of his own written songs, got called back for the 2nd
audition in Manchester and consequently got through another two auditions
to the final in London, and made it down to the last 30 - which out
of 12,000 hopefuls is something that he is understandably very proud
of.
Chris Martin look-a-like Seth came up with the idea for the band
after constantly being told ‘you look like that bloke from Coldplay!’
– A compliment which over time evolved into Coldplayer. He is
very happy with the sound and mindset of each member of the band,
and believes ‘We're the only tribute band who would make the
original band proud!’
